"Smart-Chip"
Smart-Tech can now offer its unique chip repair system. The
system revolves around its 43 basic paints and 1 specialist reducer
for pearls. It is supplied in 100ML bottles which together give the
ability to match just about any colour. The difference is what we
term as basics are already paints which can be used straight from
the bottle or mix and match by eye to the customers car. It's
portable too which means you can leave the van at home whilst you
work form the boot of your car if location means a van is out of the
question. If you find a colour you find difficult, don't worry. A
quick telephone call will get you a 10 gram formula as a start
point. Please note. Scales are not supplied in the kit but are
readily available from other sources at varying prices. "Smart-Chip"
is designed to be easy to use, cost effective and with a little
practice you can achieve excellent results. It is not a vehicle
refinish product so requires no specialist equipment or compressor
to apply. It's a cosmetic improver which offers protection to the
exposed area and slows down the corrosion process. Simply apply with
a soft fine art brush and wipe off excess after curing has taken
place. Polish with a soft cloth and a quality wax as a final touch
if you feel it necessary. Similar products are available on the
market but they are not as effective or as affordable as
"Smart-Chip".
